What I Hope to learn!
The class in itself is going to teach me so much more about technology in education and make it easier hopefully for me when I finally have a classroom of my own to make spreadsheets containing lesson plans. Or just activities for the students that require printouts like interactive games. I also am excited to learn how to use excel. Because I have no clue what that journey accommodates. Learning how to personalize online experiences beyond just basic Powerpoint transitions will be very helpful in the future. A large part of teaching is the paperwork, and as the years go by, the demand for technology increases. I inevitably have to keep up with the time and make sure I'm competent at computer skills. Hence the name.

Tech Experience (Or Lack Thereof)
Okay so I am supposed to tell you guys all about my experiences with different technologies in different settings, but the bottom line is that I am not only tech deficient, but struggle to figure out all the hidden quirks to a simple iPhone. hence why i'm in this class. Actually maybe I need to be in EME 0001 if that was offered i'd probably still find a way to mess things up. But its okay that's why i'm here. As of prior experience the only thing I've used is a regular Mac computer. I know how to do Powerpoint, and Word but that's where my talent stops short. The tale truly is a tragedy. Ask me again after this semester, because I know I am going to have learned many things. Yay!

Rayana's EME2040 Blog
Hey guys!
Rayana here, I'm currently a freshman here at FSU. I was born and raised here in Tallahassee and it has been my lifelong dream to pursue Elementary Education at the school of garnet and gold! I hope to be a teacher of either kindergarten, first, or second. and I love to read and write. I'm currently working on a book and can't wait to go through the publishing process officially for the first time. It means the world to me to one day see the words I write on the shelves of my favorite bookstores like Books- A-Million and Barnes and Noble. Although baby steps. In the meantime I am so excited for this new chapter in my life, college so far has been a mix of fun recreational activities and copious amounts of things to do for my classes every single day. But I'm learning to make it work. I think the most important thing in my college career is to stay productive and its exciting trying to manage my time and slide in Chick- fil- a before that next abnormally long class. I only have one sibling, an older brother. As well as a Jack Russell- who is older than me technically speaking- that I also consider my brother. That' s peculiar I am well aware, but we were essentially the same age when my parents got him, so I figured it would be too unconventional to call him my son. That's all about me I don't want to bore with specifics, offward and onward!
